Presentation on Social Media for the ATA
The American Translators Association (ATA) held its 50th Conference in New York City’s Times Square the last week of October 2009. It was the organization’s most successful conference ever in terms of attendance and media exposure. This accomplishment was likely a result of explosive growth in the translation field as well as the celebratory nature of the organization’s 50th anniversary.
In conjunction with colleague Michael Wahlster, Corinne McKay and Eve Bodeux, frequent speakers at ATA conferences, gave a presentation about the uses of social networking in today’s business environment to an overflow crowd.
