Bodeux and McKay Present in Paris

Eve Bodeux and Corinne McKay reprised their social media presentation made at the American Translators Association 50th Anniversary Conference in New York City. This time around, the presentation was given in French, in Paris, France, for the Société française des traducteurs (SFT) — the national professional association for translators in France.

The presentation took place on March 13, 2010, and was entitled Web 2.0 for Translators:  Maximize your use of Social Media. It covered how to successfully leverage social media interaction and Internet marketing strategies. Areas discussed included LinkedIn, Viadeo, Twitter and blogging.

A second presentation offering tips and strategies for independent language professionals in France who would like to build up their portfolio of US-based client was also given. This presentation was in English and took place on March 12, 2010. For more information.
